Le Poste | Val-Saint-Gilles

Yurt

The historic fire guard post site is located along the peaceful Turgeon River. Le Poste offers several types of accommodations: yurt, cabin, or traditional campsites. The fully equipped yurt ensures a comfortable stay in any season. It includes a BBQ, hot plate, refrigerator, air conditioning, heating, and the cozy charm of a wood stove. You’ll also find running water, a composting toilet, and provided bedding for maximum comfort.

Activities: canoe and kayak rentals, hiking trails, mountain biking, sauna, and an on-site restaurant with event room rentals.

Les Racines du P’tit Isidore | Rouyn-Noranda

Yurt

Located near Aiguebelle National Park, this yurt in Abitibi-Témiscamingue offers a full immersion in nature. Its circular shape and amenities—such as a small wood stove and an indoor toilet—make it a cozy option in any season! Enjoy the tranquility and breathtaking sunrise views over the Kinojévis River. Aiguebelle National Park | Rouyn-Noranda

Traditional Ready-to-Camp

This type of accommodation features 2 double beds, all the essentials for cooking, a refrigerator, a space heater, lighting, a coffee maker, and a table with chairs. Outside, you’ll find a cooking device, a picnic table, 4 garden chairs, and a fire pit. You only need to bring your food and bedding. Located in the beautiful Ojibway campground along the shores of Lake Loïs.

Nearby activities: playground for children, hiking trails, boat rental center, service center, convenience store, and Nature Boutique.

Available: early June to early September (depending on the area; subject to change without notice).

Étoile Ready-to-Camp

Located in the Abijévis campground (Mont-Brun area). Cubic in shape, the Étoile ready-to-camp is supported by a wooden structure covered with waterproof fabric. It offers more height, more capacity (up to 6 guests), and more storage.

You’ll enjoy the same kitchen amenities as the traditional ready-to-camp, along with three double beds.

Available: mid-May to mid-October (depending on the area; subject to change without notice).

Rustic Camp

With a log construction and candle lighting, the rustic camp creates a cozy atmosphere perfect for couples, families, or friends. Rustic camps are accessible by car or on foot. A canoe is now provided with every rustic camp that has access to a body of water.

Available: mid-December to late March, and mid-May to late October (depending on the area; subject to change without notice).

Opémican National Park | Témiscaming, Laniel

Étoile Ready-to-Camp

The Étoile ready-to-camp is available in two settings:

  • Rivière-Kipawa Area: nestled under pine trees, facing majestic cliffs. This setting offers a more rustic experience: no running water, limited cell service, but complete immersion in nature.
    Available: mid-June to mid-October (depending on the area; subject to change without notice).
  • Pointe-Opémican Area: close to services and trails.
    Available: mid-June to mid-October (depending on the area; subject to change without notice).

Nearby activities: hiking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and cycling.

Aventures Obikoba | Rémigny

Refuge

The four-season refuges are nestled in the peaceful Tiger Bay area. Each refuge can accommodate up to six people, and tents can be set up around them to expand the space. Easily accessible by car, these refuges are the perfect spot to immerse yourself in nature with friends or family. Don’t forget the marshmallows for long evenings around the fire!

Activities: hiking on the trail network, kayaking, swimming, and local wildlife observation.

Authentic Mongolian Yurt, Eco-Friendly Cabin, Modern Tipi

La Bannik is best known for its campground, rental cabins, and its renowned bistro… but did you know it also offers rooms? In a spacious, bright room, you’ll find a Queen bed, a comfortable seating area, an air conditioning unit, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The kitchenette is well equipped with a breakfast counter, small refrigerator, microwave, electric hot plate, coffee maker, toaster oven, and dishes for two. The adjoining bathroom features a bathtub-shower, perfect for relaxing after a day of activities.

Outside, you can enjoy a barbecue, picnic table, and propane fire pit for cozy evenings.

Gîte chez La Mère aux Prunes | Ville-Marie

Room

The gîte features a bedroom with a Queen bed and a small living area equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. You’ll also find a TV and comfortable chairs to relax. The gîte has a private entrance and a private bathroom with a large shower. A balcony and an outdoor fire pit allow you to fully enjoy evenings under the open sky. For a delicious breakfast, simply walk over to the owners’ home and enjoy your meal in their welcoming dining area.

Located just a five-minute walk from the majestic Lake Témiscamingue and close to local services, the gîte provides the perfect setting for a rejuvenating stay.
