Parc botanique À Fleur d’eau et jardin géologique
This botanical park is a jewel of greenery located in the heart of downtown Rouyn-Noranda. Created in 1989, it now boasts over 25,000 plants, trees and shrubs adapted to the climatic conditions of the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region. Wheelchair-accessible trails, a boardwalk encircling Lac Édouard and picnic areas are all available. A geological garden has also been set up, providing information on the region’s geology and mining development. Free admission to the park at any time. Guided tour by reservation ($)
