Its microclimate makes it special; here we can grow all kinds of fruits and vegetables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The region offers many opportunities to those who wish to discover it, including gourmet excursions, many public food markets and several agri-processors. The region is known for its great food and gastronomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/abitibi-temiscamingue.org\/membres\/foire-gourmande-de-l-abitibi-temiscamingue-et-du-nord-est-ontarien\">Foire gourmande<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/abitibi-temiscamingue.org\/membres\/ville-marie\">Ville-Marie<\/a> is a must-experience event. There aren\u2019t any festivals as big and as beautiful that bring together food producers of Abitibi-T\u00e9miscamingue and Northeastern Ontario and offer many food-focused activities. People enjoy eating together. There\u2019s no better way to get to know people, a region or a community than by gathering around a table and sharing a meal. Eating together is a great way to meet people and have great conversations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am very proud of my region. The people here are warm and friendly. When they leave the region, we want visitors to take with them a little piece of our pride, a pride we share through the discovery of our culture and history, at <a href=\"https:\/\/abitibi-temiscamingue.org\/membres\/le-rift-galerie-theatre-cinema\" class=\"ek-link\">Galerie du Rift<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/abitibi-temiscamingue.org\/membres\/musee-de-la-gare\">Mus\u00e9e de la gare<\/a>, or <a href=\"https:\/\/abitibi-temiscamingue.org\/membres\/le-t-e-draper-chantier-gedeon\">T.E. Draper<\/a> historical site! It is no wonder that the region has fifty or so <a href=\"https:\/\/abitibi-temiscamingue.org\/activities\/hunting-fishing\/\">outfitters<\/a> where visitors can experience the pleasure of <a href=\"https:\/\/abitibi-temiscamingue.org\/activities\/hunting-fishing\/\">hunting and fishing<\/a>, enjoy the <a href=\"https:\/\/abitibi-temiscamingue.org\/activities\/outdoors-nature\/\">outdoors<\/a>, and relax in tranquility and nature, as if alone in the world. T\u00e9miscamingue also offers many opportunities to mix with the crowd and experience intense emotional experiences by attending any of our festivals or cultural events such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/abitibi-temiscamingue.org\/membres\/pow-wow-timiskaming-first-nation\">Timiskaming First Nation Pow-Wow<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/abitibi-temiscamingue.org\/membres\/rodeo-du-camion\">Rodeo du camion<\/a> or\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/abitibi-temiscamingue.org\/membres\/festival-western-de-guigues\">Festival western de Guigues<\/a>.
