However, it does not service the entire region. For instance, you can fly from Montreal to Rouyn-Noranda or Val-d\u2019Or. Traveling by car gives you the freedom to stop along the way and enjoy the breathtaking landscapes and welcoming small towns. See? We&#8217;re not that far away!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toronto \u2192 Ville-Marie : 496 km <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Montr\u00e9al \u2192 Val-d&#8217;Or : 519 km<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>North Bay \u2192 Ville-Marie : 156 km<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gatineau \u2192 Val-d&#8217;Or : 421 km<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re driving an electric vehicle and plan to cross the La V\u00e9rendrye Wildlife Reserve, make sure to stop and charge at Le Domaine, which offers four level 3 charging stations, a key stop before continuing your journey through this vast territory.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-carpooling\">Carpooling\u202f\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Many people travel daily between Abitibi-T\u00e9miscamingue and other parts of Qu\u00e9bec (and vice versa) and kindly offer rides. The website <a class=\"ek-link\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/https\/\/www.amigoexpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">amigoexpress.com<\/a> lists member offers and ensures a quality check for more reliable and safe transportation. Carpooling groups also exist on social media, though they are more informal. Two daily departures are available \u2014 one during the day and one at night. Transfers to other transportation companies are also possible for reaching other cities or regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bus services also operate between cities within the region.
